A simple and low-cost approach for the synthesis and fabrication of ZnO nanosheet-based nanogenerator for energy harvesting and sensing

Reducing the cost of synthesis process and device fabrication plays an essential role in modestly developing products. In present report, a simple low-cost approach for ZnO nanosheets piezoelectric nanogenerator is developed. The are synthesized by hot plate assisted hydrothermal method characterized their morphology, crystallinity, composition. fabricated produced open-circuit voltage ∼220 mV upon finger tapping. series connection seven such devices ∼1.2 V. films at growth temperature 85 °C duration 4 h found to be optimum parameters making with high output. response recorded different frequencies tapping finger-tapping pressures. Further, exhibited stable output over 1100 cycles confirms durability device. explored further pressure sensing application.
